Each year, we have requested that students commit to providing donations to the community. The mission is desgined to engage students in learning about the different non-profit organizations to which they might choose to contribute financially (or donation of physical goods) and then to find a way to make the contribution by earning the funds themselves - whether it be extra chores at home or drawing from allowances that they have already earned, etc.
